Re: Lipiflow

Hi, Did your dry eye continue to be good with Lipiflow? Did you have any aqueous deficiency or just evaporative dry eye?

Desperate With Dry Eye

Hi everyone, I've just joined the forum and posted a few separate questions today about Azyter, Maskin probing and control-flow punctal plugs. I don't know if any of these are readily available here. I am 49 and first felt grittiness for a few weeks in 2013 but it cleared up in a few weeks with arti...

Control-Flow Punctal Plugs

Hi,
I've just posted a few other questions about Azyter and Maskin probing availability in the UK. Does anyone know if control flow punctal plugs are available here, as two lower plugs barely help at all and all four plugs just give me streaming red eyes 24/7. Thanks very much for any replies.

Maskin Probing

Hi, Has anyone had Maskin probing in the UK and if so where did you have it and how much would it cost? I would like to try Lipiflow and ILP but they are too expensive. If you had probing, did it help? Thanks for any replies.

Hi, Does anyone know if any optician in the UK will prescribe Azyter for MGD and blepharitis? My GP said that she is not allowed and my consultant at the hospital just shrugged off the whole idea of using antibiotics for this purpose. They just want me to take Doxy which has so many side-effects tha...

Re: Dont be shy lets talk. Share our experiences

Hi, I am hardly producing any tears, have blepharitis and mgd. I have not been offered azyter but am going to ask for it. If prescribed, I notice that it's just a five day course of drops for eye infection and, looking online, the patient information leaflet does not tell you how to use it for mgd. ...
