Hi Moira,

I have blepharitis too but is more or less non existent now. All you have to do is stick to a daily routine. I do as follows:-

I heat my eye lids with a heat mask (I started off using a warm flannel)

I clean my eyelids with a product called sterilid which apparently kills all of the bugs associated with the condition. It certainly does a good job of cleaning but you must keep your eyes closed when using it as it stings if you don't.

I them cool my eye lids down again with a gel type mask that I keep in the freezer and get out before I start the warming procedure so that it isn't too cold when I come to use it.

This has worked for me for about 2 years now. I did stop once presuming I was cured but it came back.

I treat it as part of my daily routine, much like cleaning my teeth

Where do you buy this sterilid from? Looked out for it on the hight street today and could not find it. Asked in Boots and Superdrug and they had not heard of it
